Who We Are

Most churches like to believe they’re warm and welcoming. We do too. But we not only believe it, we also live it. Every Sunday, like clockwork, and all the days in between.

What’s more, we’re different. Sure, we’re Episcopalians, so things like the liturgy and other elements of a traditional service are the same. Still, there’s something unusual about our parish, and we’re not certain what it is. But enough people have told us we’re different that we’re starting to believe it, because they are the kind of people who would never lie. You know, like visiting priests and other honest types.

Maybe you can help us figure out what sets this parish apart. Come and check us out at 9:30 one Sunday. Then stay for coffee and the always lively Living Faith Circle, which other churches call an adult forum and which we call an open exchange of ideas.

Oh, and you’ll get a great view of Pikes Peak, just like the one at the top of the page. It’s in our back yard. Consider that a bonus.

A Connected Church

St. David’s is a small, friendly, welcoming, and inclusive church family. We are part of The Episcopal Church that draws from both the Protestant and Catholic traditions. Our diocese is the Episcopal Church in Colorado.

The Episcopal Church is part of the Anglican Communion, churches around the world in communion with the Church of England. Member churches share a common heritage and commitment to the authority of scripture, tradition, and reason. We are local and global; small enough to care, yet big enough to serve.

A Word and SACRAMENT Church

Our Sunday service is contemporary and traditional. The Scriptures and the Sacraments ground us in wisdom and balance. In this ever-changing, fast-paced world, our church gives us a sense of meaning, belonging, and purpose.

An Outreach Church

We are engaged both locally and globally in outreach. We support organizations in Woodland Park, in our larger community of Tellar County, and beyond. We remember, pray for, and support all sorts of organizations who are, in their own way, doing God’s work.

A Family Church

While we are primarily an older congregation, our members come from all ages and walks of life. We are here to help develop a richer relationship with God, and we are here for one other.

A Welcoming Church

We are warm and friendly, caring yet care-free. We take life seriously; God seriously; one another seriously; yet we are casual and fun-loving. Join us!
