A Worshipping Community Seeking to Know Jesus Christ the Son of God Striving to Make His Love Known
The Liturgy of the Word and celebration of the Holy Eucharist are central to worship at St. David of the Hills Episcopal Church.
The Episcopal Book of Common Prayer is our principal guide to worship. Our parishioners are aware that some worshipers may be new to a liturgical worship experience and will assist newcomers through the order of the service in the Book of Common Prayer, located at each seat in the church.
Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. Following the service, we enjoy food and fellowship in the Parish Hall.
Saint David’s – I’m afraid the No Church Rule is still in effect.
I pray you’re all staying safe and are well! And I’m praying this prayer, as well.
Much love, Carolynne
May we who are merely inconvenienced remember those whose lives are at stake.
May we who have no risk factors remember those who are most vulnerable.
May we who have the luxury of working from home remember those who must choose between preserving their health or making their rent and feeding their families.
May we who have the flexibility to care for our children when their schools close remember those who have no options.
May we who have to cancel trips remember those who have no safe place to go.
May we who are losing our margin of money in these turbulent times remember those who have no margin at all.
May we who settle in for a quarantine at home remember those who have no home.
As fear grips our country, let us choose love.
During this time when we cannot physically wrap our arms around each other, let us find ways to be the loving embrace of God to our neighbors.
Living Faith Circle
Living Faith Circle, our adult faith formation session, is held on the first, second, and fourth Sundays after worship.. Join us for lively conversation, laughter, and prayer.
